  1. Hello – I love this poem and would like to use it as a weekly poem for my second grade class with your permission to copy it to enlarge to hang and send home with our class newsletter.

    1. I apologize for the delay. Of course, this sounds like a great idea! If it is possible to have “Leaders UNITE” in small writing somewhere on the page, that would be great. We are glad that you liked the poem!

  2. Greetings!
I just read your poem. I was looking for a piece on leadership that a high school student could read at the public swearing-in of the new mayor of my city. The words in your poem speak to who she is!

With your permission, may I have a high school student read this poem publicly and we will be sure to acknowledge you and your organization.

    1. Hi Ms. McElroy,

  4. I was looking for a poem related to leadership and your poem is perfect for one of my fifth graders to read at their move up ceremony in May and since their theme is “Ready to Lead.” So, therefore, I respectfully request that you allow your poem to be read at the ceremony.

      1. Thank you so much. However, we were hoping to have students read it, in which case we would have to video them. Would this be acceptable? Thanks!
