It’s your turn to become the next American Idol! Yes that’s right, you get to show off your singing talents (or lack thereof.) Use the theme of being trustworthy as well as any animal of your choice, create a 45 second- 1 minute song or rap. Be creative!
In your group, you will have 20 minutes to create your song and will present to the rest of the class when time is up. Feel free to add background music or dancing.

You are to create and act out a 2 minute story. You main character or object of the story should be created from the letters above: using any number and any order of the letters. For example, you could use the letters HEY.
In your group, you will have 15 minutes to pick your main character/object and then create your script. At the end of the time, you will present your skit to the class.

You are applying to be an intern at the biggest advertising agency in the country. For this section of your application, you are given the task of picking any object in the room and creating a 30- second commercial promoting the new “product.”
You will each select an object in the room and will have 5 minutes to create an advertisement selling the product. After time is up, you will present you ad to the class. You can be as funny as you like. Pretend you are on TV!
Choose your two favorite sports. Now it is your job to combine these two sports into one and create your own rules for this new game. Make it fun, but also be safe!
In your group, you will have 10 minutes to create the rules for the new game. Then, you will have 15 minutes to play your new game. After time is called, you will have an additional 5 minutes to alter the rules of your game as you see needed. Afterwards, the activity is done, but feel free to play the new game with your friends!
Halloween is coming up, but you don’t want to buy a costume this year. Instead, you want to create your own. Use any of the provided materials in the classroom to create your own Halloween costume. It can be based on a real costume or character, or it can be your own creation.
In your group, you will have 30 minutes to create this costume. Use only the materials provided. Be creative! You will present the costume to the class when time is up.
We all know Batman and Spiderman, who have saved the world on numerous occasions. But who will be the next superhero and what will be his power? It is up to you to decide!
In your group, you will have 15 minutes to create your own superhero and draw the hero on a piece of paper. On the page, you must also write his/her superhero name, special power, and how he/she got the power. You will present to the group after time is up.

Your best friend’s mother has just called you to let you know that your best friend will be having her Sweet Sixteen (or Quinceañera) in two weeks. Not only did she call to invite you, but she also needs your help planning it. There’s a lot to do: renting the hall, getting food, sending out invites, and more! You friend’s mother put you in charge of the entertainment- the music during the party as well as the surprise performance for the celebratory dance half way through. She said you can pick anyone you want to perform at the party- but remember there’s a budget and a crunch for time! It’s up to you to make the entertainment a hit!
In your group, you have 10 minutes to decide on a playlist of 10 songs and a performer (famous or not) for the party. Also, make a plan of how you will get the music (hire a DJ, etc.) and get in contact with the performer. You will present your proposal after the time is up.
